View and manage videos in Studio Content Manager

Features described in this article only apply to users of YouTube Studio Content Director. For info on managing videos in YouTube Studio, learn more here.

YouTube Studio Content Director lets you view and manage videos from the channels linked to your Content Director. For more info on video upload methods, go to Upload and claim your videos.

Find videos

  1. Sign in to Studio Content Manager.
  2. From the left carte du jour, select Videos .
  3. On the Videos page, you can switch between Uploads and Live tabs.
    • Uploads shows videos uploaded to the channels linked to your Content Managing director.
    • Live shows by saved live streams from channels linked to your Content Managing director.
  4. Click the filter bar and select a filter to refine the list, such as:
    • Channel
    • Copyright strikes
    • Duration
    • Monetization
    • Video date
    • Video ID
  5. Click a video. A details page opens to evidence an overview of the video's metadata, settings, thumbnail epitome, and other info.
  6. From the left carte du jour, select a tab to perform more actions:
    • Analytics: To get information on the video's operation.
    • Editor: To edit your video, add cards, and alter other video elements.
    • Subtitles: To add together subtitles to the video.
    • Monetization: To plough on video monetization by choosing an upload policy and selecting advertisement formats. Learn more.
    • Rights Management: To plough on Content ID matching and choose a match policy.
      • Note: Content ID is but available to qualifying partners that own content that's eligible for Content ID. You should only turn on Content ID matching on a video when you lot have exclusive rights to all of its audio and visual content.
    • Claims: To open the video in the Claimed Videos view and see other claims on the video.
    • Policy: To view the policies applied to the video.

Manage multiple videos at once

  1. Sign in to Studio Content Manager.
  2. From the left menu, select Videos .
  3. Find the videos yous desire to update. To refine the listing, click the filter bar and utilise filters.
    • To select all videos on a page, cheque the box at the pinnacle. To select all videos on all pages, bank check the box at the tiptop and click Select all matching.
  4. Click i or more checkboxes adjacent to the videos y'all want to update.
  5. Click Edit from the top imprint and select one or more than deportment. For example:
    • Content ID matching: To turn on Content ID and create references for multiple videos at once.
    • Upload policy: To turn on monetization for multiple videos at one time.
  6. Click UPDATE VIDEOS.
